After missing three straight games, Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush returned last Sunday and had eight carries for 26 yards and four catches for 8 yards. More importantly, Bush was able to make it through the entire game without an injury forcing him off the field.
Unfortunately for Bush, making it through the game and getting out of the game fully healthy are two drastically different things. Bush may have been able to get through the game, but it doesn't exactly sound like he's all that healthy after missing practice on Wednesday.
Reggie Bush not practicing today. Told me after Sunday's game he tweaked his ankle a bit.

It's unclear right now what Bush's status will be for this Sunday's game, but I think the Lions would be better off with a healthy Theo Riddick than a less-than-100-percent Reggie Bush. Of course, I personally think the Lions would be better off with more of Riddick even if Bush was 100 percent, but that's a whole other discussion.
Here's the Lions' full injury report for Wednesday:
RB Reggie Bush (ankle) - Did not practice
WR Calvin Johnson (ankle) - Limited in practice
OT LaAdrian Waddle (head) - Limited in practice
DT Nick Fairley (knee) - Did not practice
LB Josh Bynes (illness) - Did not practice
