One of defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh's best attributes is how reliable he is. During his five years in Detroit, he's only missed two games, and that was because of a suspension. Even leading up to games Suh is extremely reliable, as he's always on the practice field and never on the injury report.
That changed on Thursday, although not because of an injury.
The ultra durable Ndamukong Suh missed his first practice as a Lion today (not including his 2-game suspension) due to an illness— Dave Birkett (@davebirkett) December 11, 2014
Linebacker Josh Bynes has missed the last two practices with an illness, so clearly something is going around in the Detroit Lions' locker room right now. This has prompted offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle to take extra precautions in order to avoid getting sick.

In actual injury news, running back Reggie Bush returned to practice on Thursday. He said that Wednesday was merely a day off to rest, and he fully expects to play on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
