The illness that landed a few Detroit Lions players on last week's injury report has struck again. It kept defensive end George Johnson out of practice on Wednesday, and offensive guard Rob Sims was sidelined by it on Thursday. Based on what happened with the other players, Sims should be able to play come Sunday, but it's a bit concerning that this bug is still going around the locker room.
In other news, defensive tackle C.J. Mosley missed practice on Thursday. Why? He had a pretty good reason behind his absence:
Lions DT C.J. Mosley had a baby girl. According to Teryl Austin, she's healthy.
