The Detroit Lions are usually shifting their attention to the upcoming NFL Draft around this time of year. That's because they usually aren't headed to the playoffs.
This year, thankfully, is a different situation. The Lions are indeed headed to the playoffs, and as a result, draft season has not yet begun. The hope is that draft season will continue to be postponed until February, but either way, the focus remains on actual football for the time being.
Actually, with the Lions in the playoffs, we don't even know where they will land in the draft order for 2015. For playoff teams, their positioning in the draft order is dependent upon how long they last in the postseason. If the Lions make it all the way to the Super Bowl, for example, they won't pick until 31st or 32nd overall.
