Lions notes: More on Sunday's loss to Packers

Lions notes looks at various tidbits from Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers.

  • Larry Warford left Sunday's game with a knee injury, and this doesn't exactly sound promising: If Warford is unable to play, chances are Travis Swanson will slide back over to right guard with Dominic Raiola returning from his suspension. (Garrett Reynolds filled in for Warford on Sunday.)

  • Speaking of suspensions, the NFL is going to take a closer look at the play where Ndamukong Suh stepped on Aaron Rodgers. Given his history, I could see Suh being fined, but I highly doubt he will be suspended given the lack of obvious intent. Suh wasn't even looking at Rodgers, and when shown at full speed, the incident hardly looks blatantly egregious. I agree with Mike Pereira's take on what happened:
  • James Ihedigbo had an inconsistent first half, and he actually got benched as a result.
I get that he made some mistakes, but it's still pretty surprising that the coaches decided to bench him.

  • The Detroit Lions pulled off a successful "onside punt" on Sunday.
