In Week 14, the Detroit Lions' future opponents combined to go 2-1. Here's a look at how each team performed:
Week 15 - vs. Vikings (6-7) - beat Jets, 30-24 (OT)
This was a back-and-forth game that came to a close with an 87-yard touchdown pass from Teddy Bridgewater to Jarius Wright in overtime. It was actually a short pass, but Wright used his speed to outrun the defense and give the Vikings the victory.
Week 16 - at Bears (5-8) - lost to Cowboys, 41-28
Oh, Bears. They were down 35-7 going into the fourth quarter of this game. They deserve some credit for a late rally that got them within 10 points, but Dallas ultimately ended up winning by two touchdowns. The game wasn't really as close as the score indicates anyway, as this was yet another one-sided loss for the Bears.
Week 17 - at Packers (10-3) - beat Falcons, 43-37
The Falcons did their best to make things interesting despite going into halftime down 31-7, but their second-half rally proved to be too little, too late. After seeing their lead shrink to six points, the Packers got the ball back with 2:11 left in the fourth quarter and simply ran out the clock to clinch their fifth win in a row.
