The Detroit Lions have followed up back-to-back losses with back-to-back wins. As a result, they've been on a bit of a roller-coaster ride in NFL power rankings as of late, and that continued this week with them jumping back into the top 10 across the board. Take a look:
- SB Nation: 9th (up from 11th)
- NFL.com: 9th (no change)
- ESPN: 9th (up from 11th)
- CBS Sports: 10th (no change)
- FOX Sports: 5th (up from 6th)
FOX Sports is once again the most impressed by the Lions, as evidenced by Detroit coming in at No. 5 in their rankings. All of the other sites have them ninth or 10th.
The Lions will have a great opportunity to move up again next week with the Minnesota Vikings coming to town on Sunday. Minnesota is currently ranked 21st (SB Nation), 21st (NFL.com), 22nd (ESPN), 22nd (CBS Sports) and 21st (FOX Sports). The Vikings are actually on a two-game winning streak of their own, so they will be looking to crack the top 20 by extending that streak to three. It'll be up to the Lions to make sure that doesn't happen.
