Earlier this week, free-agent offensive tackle Jason Fox visited the Kansas City Chiefs. It turns out that it wasn't the usual free-agent visit where the team was recruiting the player, though. Instead, Fox actually tried out for the Chiefs, according to Aaron Wilson, and at least as of right now, no deal has been agreed to between the two sides.
With no deal in place, Fox's free-agent tour is now taking him to Miami to meet with the Dolphins, according to James Walker.
#Dolphins are bringing in OT Jason Fox for a visit, according to a league source. MIA is looking for depth at the position.

Fox played college football at Miami, so he's already got a connection to that area. And the Dolphins could clearly use some extra depth at the offensive tackle position, so he might be a pretty good fit for them.
For the Detroit Lions, there still hasn't been any news related to the possibility of Fox being re-signed. Perhaps they are just waiting things out to determine if they need to bring back Fox, or perhaps they have simply moved on because of his injury issues.
UPDATE: Fox has signed with the Dolphins.
