The Detroit Lions started signing their draft picks on Thursday by getting fifth-rounder Caraun Reid under contract. On Friday, the Lions inked two more draft picks to deals by signing fourth-round pick Larry Webster and seventh-round pick Nate Freese.
With Webster and Freese joining Reid on the signed list, the Lions have five unsigned draft picks remaining: first-round pick Eric Ebron, second-round pick Kyle Van Noy, third-round pick Travis Swanson, fourth-round pick Nevin Lawson and sixth-round pick TJ Jones. The hope is that deals will be done with all of them soon, but it's unclear how far along negotiations are at this point.
In other news, the Lions signed a 12th undrafted free agent by adding Robert Morris offensive lineman A.J. Dalton on Friday. He was first mentioned as a signing shortly after the draft ended, but he wasn't included in the Lions' original announcement on UDFAs earlier in the week. He's now officially on the team, though, giving the Lions a total of 90 players on their roster.
