Over/under: 8 wins for Lions in 2014

How many games do you think the Detroit Lions will win in 2014?

Gregory Shamus

With the 2014 NFL Draft in the rear-view mirror, the focus around the NFL is shifting to the upcoming season. Yes, we're still months away from actual football, but projected win totals have already been released in Las Vegas for each NFL team.

For the Detroit Lions, the LVH sports book set their over/under at 8 wins for the 2014 season. Interestingly enough, the over is the favorite at -150. The under is the underdog at +130, meaning the current odds favor the Lions to go at least 9-7 in 2014.

Last year, the oddsmakers were right on the mark. The Lions' over/under was set at 7 wins for 2013, and they ended up finishing 7-9. In our poll last May, 82% of you expected the Lions to hit the over, and if not for their maddening collapse in the second half of the season, they would have easily done that.

For this year, with a projection of 8 wins, do you have the over or the under for the Lions? As a reminder, this is the Lions' schedule for 2014:

Week 1 - vs. Giants
Week 2 - at Panthers
Week 3 - vs. Packers
Week 4 - at Jets
Week 5 - vs. Bills
Week 6 - at Vikings
Week 7 - vs. Saints
Week 8 - at Falcons
Week 10 - vs. Dolphins
Week 11 - at Cardinals
Week 12 - at Patriots
Week 13 - vs. Bears
Week 14 - vs. Buccaneers
Week 15 - vs. Vikings
Week 16 - at Bears
Week 17 - at Packers
