Just like last week, the Detroit Lions were without several players when they continued their OTAs on Wednesday. Specifically, three players were completely absent from Wednesday's OTA, and four other players were in attendance but unable to take part in the practice. There were also a few other players who were limited at times. Via Tim Twentyman and Kyle Meinke, here's the rundown:
Unable to practice
RB Joique Bell
WR Kevin Ogletree
DE Ziggy Ansah
DT Nick Fairley
LB Brandon Hepburn
CB Chris Houston
CB Chris Greenwood
Limited in practice
OG Rob Sims
DE Jason Jones
S Glover Quin
Of those players, Ogletree, Fairley and Houston were completely absent from Wednesday's practice. Fairley is still recovering from a "procedure," and Houston is still recovering from toe surgery. Ogletree, meanwhile, was out because of a dental issue.
The addition of Ogletree to this list is actually the only notable difference from last week's unofficial injury report. Kourtnei Brown was removed from the list since he is now practicing, but Ogletree is the only new name, and he was only out because of a dental problem. That means that there have been no significant new injuries for the Lions, and that is definitely good news.
