The 2014 POD Community Mock Draft came to a close earlier this week, giving us two full rounds of predictions for the actual 2014 NFL Draft, which will begin on Thursday. Below you can look back at all 64 picks that were made in our mock draft, and you can see the approval ratings that were handed out for each pick as well. Check it out:
Four picks in the first round hit an approval rating of 90% or higher: C.J. Mosley (Denver Broncos), Jadeveon Clowney (Jacksonville Jaguars), Khalil Mack (Atlanta Falcons) and Justin Gilbert (Pittsburgh Steelers). The Mosley pick led the entire draft at 96%, and the average was 73% for the first round.
The Broncos nearly had the highest approval rating in the second round as well (at 88%), but the Carolina Panthers edged them with an 89% rating for their selection of Davante Adams. The average in the second round dropped to 69%, by the way, putting the overall average approval rating for this mock draft at 71%.
Thanks again to everybody who participated in the 2014 POD Community Mock Draft, and thanks to everybody for reading along and voting in our polls. This is always a lot of fun, and it will be interesting to see how many picks end up actually happening in real life this year.
