Ndamukong Suh heads to Brazil for 2014 World Cup

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh headed to Brazil this past weekend to take in the 2014 World Cup.

US PRESSWIRE

Last Monday, several Detroit Lions players tweeted about the United States' win over Ghana in the 2014 World Cup. On Sunday, Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh tweeted about the USA's draw against Portugal, and he did it live from Brazil:

As you can probably tell from Suh's tweets, it was a pretty exciting game. The United States rallied from a 1-0 deficit with a pair of goals in the second half, and they were just seconds away from clinching a spot in the knockout round. Unfortunately, a late Portugal goal evened things up, meaning the United States' fate in the World Cup won't be known until Thursday.

In any case, Suh seems to be having a pretty good time in Brazil:

Suh actually played soccer growing up, and he comes from a family of soccer players. Given his size, it's tough to imagine him playing that sport nowadays, but it'd certainly be interesting to see the Lions defensive tackle on a different kind of football field.
