Free-agent cornerback Brandon Flowers may not be a free agent for much longer. He was released by the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this month (on the same day the Detroit Lions released Chris Houston), and he quickly drew interest from numerous teams, including the Lions. Now, based on a report from Jason La Canfora on Sunday, it sounds like Flowers may have a new team in the next few days.
Sounds like much-sought-after CB Brandon Flowers will make a decision on his next team sometime midweek. Plenty of suitors

Flowers visited the San Diego Chargers last week, and he departed without a deal. U-T San Diego's Michael Gehlken reported that Flowers was planning to "visit at least one other team before making a decision," but the identity of that team is currently unknown.
At this point, it seems unlikely that Flowers will end up in Detroit. They haven't really been connected to Flowers since they reportedly "reached out" to him, and just generally speaking, he doesn't necessarily seem like a great fit for their defense. That's not to say that they won't make a run at signing him anyway just to add more talent to their secondary, but it'd be somewhat surprising if Flowers ends up joining the Lions.
