The official list of the Detroit Lions' 2015 opponents has been released.

We may be busy counting down the final days of the 2014 offseason, but let's briefly take a moment to look ahead to 2015. Why? Well, the NFL officially confirmed the Detroit Lions' opponents for the 2015 season with the release of its 2014 Record & Fact Book. The rotation for 2015 has been known for quite some time, but now it's official.

Here's the rundown of the Lions' opponents for 2015:

Home opponents: Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, NFC East team

Away opponents: Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, NFC South team

As you can see, the Lions are matched up with the NFC West and AFC West next year. On paper, this makes it seem like the 2015 schedule will be quite tough for the Lions, but then again, that's a long way away. A lot could change for the Lions and their future opponents by the time these games are actually played, so the perceived difficulty right now doesn't mean much.
