Lions notes: Golden Tate, Reggie Bush, more

Lions notes looks at Golden Tate, Reggie Bush and much more.

Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports
  • Atlanta Falcons safety Dwight Lowery is still pretty upset with Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate for a block that Tate delivered on him last year when both players were on other teams. Lowery suffered a season-ending concussion on the block, and Tate received a $21,000 fine for it. Lowery and Tate will square off again this year when the Lions play the Falcons in London on Oct. 26.

  • Reggie Bush found some lions statues while in Barcelona.

  • This is a real thing that you can buy: By the way, you can buy this sweater and lots of other Lions gear at Fanatics, which is a new partner of ours. If you ever want to buy something Lions related, you can find a link to the Fanatics store in our navbar under the "MORE" dropdown.

  • That's a whole lot of dead money: By comparison, the Lions have around $5.5 million in dead money for 2014.

  • FOX Sports' Ross Jones took a look at some of the questions that need to be answered for the NFL to successfully launch a developmental league.
