- When it comes to Ndamukong Suh's contract situation, Ian Rapoport reports that the Lions are "willing to allow him to explore FA to gauge his market." In other words, they must feel that their offer will stack up favorably to what he would command on the open market, and they are okay with him seeing what else is out there.
- One other note on Suh... This is why nobody expects the Lions to legitimately consider using the franchise tag on him:
