The regular season may still be more than a month away, but fantasy football season has already basically arrived. For some leagues, that means already drafting players, and for others, that means getting ready for the actual thing with mock drafts.

With so many mock drafts taking place right now for fantasy football, one of the more interesting things is to take a look at players' average draft position. On Fantasy Football Calculator, for example, you can see exactly where players are going in different types of leagues. Here's a look at the average draft position for some Detroit Lions players for standard 12-team leagues:

5. WR Calvin Johnson (first round)
33. RB Reggie Bush (third round)
47. QB Matthew Stafford (fourth round)
63. RB Joique Bell (sixth round)
83. WR Golden Tate (seventh round)
126. TE Eric Ebron (11th round)

I'm a bit surprised that there is such a big difference between Bush and Bell, but I suppose a lot of people probably aren't aware that Bell is likely going to have a larger role this year. It also seems that people aren't too aware of the Theo Riddick hype train just yet, because he did not crack the top 185.

Editor's Note: SB Nation's partner FanDuel is hosting a $100,000 Fantasy Football Contest for Week 1's NFL games. It's only $10 to join and first prize is $10,000. Starts Sunday, September 7th at 1pm ET. Here's the link.
