- The Detroit Lions resumed training camp on Monday with an indoor practice. Calvin Johnson took part in it after missing the Lions' preseason opener, and Theo Riddick and Tahir Whitehead both practiced after leaving Saturday's game with injuries.
-
Out for the Lions on Monday were Ziggy Ansah, TJ Jones, Larry Warford and Don Carey. Ansah and Jones remain on the PUP list, so their absence was expected. It's unclear what's wrong with Carey, but we know that Warford is sick, so he wasn't out because of an injury.
- With Warford out, Rodney Austin took over as the first-team right guard, according to Kyle Meinke.
- This isn't a surprise or anything, but Dan Orlovsky is still the Lions' No. 2 quarterback, at least for now.
- This is interesting:

Matthew Stafford's streak of not throwing an interception during training camp came to an end on Monday.
Matthew Stafford also threw his first team-drill pick in camp today, which bounced off Pettigrew's hands and right to Bill Bentley. #Lions

- The Lions introduced some music to their practice on Monday.
