- The Detroit Lions returned to the practice field shortly after returning from Oakland on Saturday for what turned out to be a 30-minute walkthrough, according to Dave Birkett.
- Despite leaving Friday night's game with a neck injury after an ugly collision with an Oakland Raiders player, DeJon Gomes was on the field for the walkthrough, per Birkett.
- It sounds like Calvin Johnson is going to play next Friday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Nick Fairley was still with the second-team defensive line on Saturday, but Jim Caldwell had some positive things to say about his performance on Friday.
