After voting on Jim Caldwell on Tuesday, it's now time for our August approval poll on Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew.
So far in 2014, Mayhew's approval rating has been pretty interesting to watch. It started out at 74% after he fired Jim Schwartz and hired Caldwell, and it jumped all the way up to 80% after the first couple weeks of free agency in March. After that, it dropped back into the 70s, but it was pretty consistent until dropping to a new low -- 69% -- in July. Here's a full look at his approval ratings:
July 2014: 69% approval
June 2014: 78% approval
May 2014: 77% approval
April 2014: 74% approval
March 2014: 80% approval
January 2014: 74% approval
December 2013: 87% approval
November 2013: 82% approval
October 2013: 87% approval
September 2013: 70% approval
June 2013: 73% approval
As the Lions get ready to wrap up the preseason, make their final roster cuts and turn their attention to the regular season, do you approve of the job Mayhew is doing? Vote in the poll below and leave your thoughts in the comments.
