The Detroit Lions continue to slowly make their way to their final 53-man roster. They have notified Nate Ness that he has been released, according to Josh Katzenstein.
This is the second time that Ness has been released by the Lions this year. He was first let go after the Lions signed their undrafted free agents in May, but he was brought back earlier this month to play safety. He had a pretty solid preseason with two interceptions in three games, but that wasn't enough for him to make the 53-man roster.
