Lions notes: More on Sunday's loss to Panthers

Lions notes looks at various tidbits from Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports
  • Another week, another franchise record for Calvin Johnson. His record may have been broken, but Herman Moore handled it pretty well.
  • Compared to previous years, Matthew Stafford went a pretty long time without an interception to start this season.
  • Following Sunday's game, Cam Newton cleared up his "Donkey Kong" remarks about Ndamukong Suh from earlier in the week. Newton indicated that he was just joking around, and he also praised Suh. In the grand scheme of things, it seems that Newton's comments were really nothing more than a talking point for the media and fans leading up to the game.

  • Don Muhlbach has been around for quite a few Lions games.
