Lions approval poll: Martin Mayhew (September 2014)

Do you approve of the job Martin Mayhew is doing as general manager of the Detroit Lions? Vote now.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

After previously voting on head coach Jim Caldwell, it's now time for Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew's September approval poll. The Lions are off to a 3-1 start despite battling injuries to a pretty severe degree, but how will that affect Mayhew's approval rating? Vote in the poll below to find out.

As a reminder, Mayhew's past approval ratings look like this:

August 2014: 58% approval
July 2014:
69% approval
June 2014: 78% approval
May 2014: 77% approval
April 2014:
74% approval
March 2014: 80% approval
January 2014: 74% approval
December 2013: 87% approval
November 2013: 82% approval
October 2013:
87% approval
September 2013: 70% approval
June 2013: 73% approval

It was really interesting to see Mayhew's approval rating fall so much over the course of the summer. It went from 78 to 69 percent from June to July, and it dropped all the way down to 58 percent in August. Chances are it will start to go back up with the Lions 3-1 and in first place, but just how much remains to be seen.
