Lions-Giants injury report: James Ihedigbo doubtful for Monday

Detroit Lions safety James Ihedigbo is doubtful for Monday night's game against the New York Giants.

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

It looks as though safety James Ihedigbo is not going to play for the Detroit Lions on Monday night against the New York Giants. Although he practiced on a limited basis on both Friday and Saturday, he has been declared doubtful  for Monday's game because of knee and neck injuries, meaning Isa Abdul-Quddus or Jerome Couplin will likely start in his place.

Below is the Lions' full injury report for Monday, which includes only three total players.

DT Caraun Reid (shoulder) - Probable
S James Ihedigbo (knee/neck) - Doubtful
S Don Carey (hamstring) - Out

It's no surprise that Don Carey has already been ruled out considering he hasn't practiced in quite some time. As for Caraun Reid, he appears to be good to go considering he's been declared probable for Monday's game.

Here's the Giants' final injury report for Monday:

WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) - Out
OT James Brewer (back) - Out
OT Charles Brown (shoulder) - Probable
OG Brandon Mosley (back) - Probable
DT Markus Kuhn (ankle) - Out
LB Jon Beason (foot) - Probable
