- Where are the Detroit Lions at as a franchise after going one-and-done in the playoffs after an 11-5 regular season? Here's Mayhew's current view of the team:

- Gunther Cunningham didn't return as the Lions' defensive coordinator after Jim Schwartz was fired, but he remained with the team, and it sounds like he did a lot behind the scenes in 2014.
Mayhew said Gunther Cunningham contributed a lot on the grading of roster and upcoming opponents. No decision on bringing him back.

Team expects Nevin Lawson back at some point this offseason. Mayhew said he's never seen that particular injury in his time around football.

- Well said, Martin. Well said.
