- The 2015 Pro Bowl Draft was held on Wednesday night. Matthew Stafford and Golden Tate ended up on Michael Irvin's team, while Glover Quin ended up on Cris Carter's team. Quin is totally going to intercept Stafford, isn't he?
- Why did Joique Bell recently have surgery? Dave Birkett reports that Bell "underwent minor surgery to clean up his knee and Achilles tendon."
- In case you're still not convinced that Teryl Austin is returning as the Detroit Lions' defensive coordinator, this is yet another extremely positive sign:
Another sign Teryl Austin is firm as Lions DC: He took part in Senior Bowl interviews tonight. Xanders couldn't last yr w/job in limbo

- It sounds like Sheldon White, the Lions' vice president of pro personnel, may still be in the running for the Philadelphia Eagles' general manager job, but he apparently hasn't interviewed for the position just yet.
Sheldon White, the Lions VP of pro personnel, is still a candidate for the Eagles GM job.
— Josh Katzenstein (@jkatzenstein) January 20, 2015Lions PP director Sheldon White declined comment on any interest in Eagles GM job. Last I was told, he was not on docket for an interview

- Speaking of Sheldon White...

- The Chicago Bears have assembled a pretty solid group of coordinators. John Fox hired Vic Fangio (formerly of the San Francisco 49ers) as his defensive coordinator, and he hired Adam Gase (formerly of the Denver Broncos) as his offensive coordinator.
- Former Bears head coach Marc Trestman is headed to Baltimore to be the Ravens' offensive coordinator.
- Former Bills head coach Doug Marrone, who opted out of his deal in Buffalo, is now the Jacksonville Jaguars' offensive line coach and assistant head coach. Talk about a downgrade.
- Former Lions secondary coach Marcus Robertson is the Oakland Raiders' new defensive backs coach. He served as Oakland's assistant defensive backs coach in 2014.
