- Speaking of Suh, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy recently described him as the best DT in the NFL. McCoy also said this about Suh: "He's what I like to call a mutant. We don't have a lot of mutants in this league, he's one of them."
- While at the Senior Bowl this week, the Lions met with Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty, Washington defensive tackle Danny Shelton, Ohio State cornerback Doran Grant and Miami (Ohio) cornerback Quinten Rollins, among others.
- Jim Caldwell wasn't in a very talkative mood at the Senior Bowl.
