Next up in the 2014 POD Awards is the category for the Detroit Lions' Rookie of the Year. Here are the nominees:

TE Eric Ebron

Ebron, the Lions' first-round pick, played in 13 games in his rookie season and had 25 catches for 248 yards and one touchdown. That TD came in the Lions' 24-17 victory over the New York Jets.

OT Cornelius Lucas

Despite being an undrafted free agent, Lucas made the Lions' 53-man roster, and he actually appeared in 15 games for the team. What's more, he made three starts for the Lions and got playing time at both left tackle and right tackle during his rookie season.

C Travis Swanson

Swanson, the Lions' third-round pick, played in all 16 games as a rookie and made a total of five starts. He first got playing time as an extra offensive lineman before later being called upon to fill in as a starter at right guard and center.
