- For those still wondering about what's going on with the Atlanta Falcons' head coaching search, D. Orlando Ledbetter reports that Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will be "officially named" Atlanta's head coach the day after the Super Bowl. In other words, Teryl Austin's return as defensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions will become official next week.
- Former Lions quarterbacks coach Todd Downing has been hired by the Oakland Raiders to be their quarterbacks coach. Downing spent the 2014 season as the Buffalo Bills' quarterbacks coach.
- In other Raiders news, they have re-signed Charles Woodson for another season.
