Do you approve of the job Martin Mayhew is doing as general manager of the Detroit Lions? Vote now.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

Another season is in the books for Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew. From a wins and losses standpoint in the regular season, 2014 was Mayhew's most successful year yet as the Lions' general manager. The Lions went 11-5, made the playoffs and came within one game of winning the NFC North title.

In terms of the postseason, the Lions were unable to get Mayhew his first playoff win as general manager of the Lions. This was only the Lions' second playoff appearance under Mayhew, and they ultimately came up just short thanks to a controversial finish in Texas.

In any case, Mayhew's approval rating at the end of the regular season was 79 percent. This was one percent higher than his approval rating in November, as you can see below.

December 2014: 79% approval
November 2014: 78% approval
October 2014: 84% approval
September 2014: 76% approval
August 2014: 58% approval
July 2014:
69% approval
June 2014: 78% approval
May 2014: 77% approval
April 2014:
74% approval
March 2014: 80% approval
January 2014: 74% approval
December 2013: 87% approval
November 2013: 82% approval
October 2013:
87% approval
September 2013: 70% approval
