Injury report: Levy back, limited; Bell, Ansah out

The Thursday injury report is out, and as earlier reported, DeAndre Levy has finally returned to practice

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Beard might be just what Detroit needs to get things turned around on defense. Today DeAndre Levy finally returned to practice, finally returning from a bogus Chilean parasite hip strain, which means I will, sadly, not be eating a roast beef sandwich on the next PODcast. However, as Levy returned, a few other Lions were marked out from practice with lingering injuries. Notable among them is Joique Bell and Ezekiel Ansah.

Ziggy missed a practice last week with a back injury; nevertheless, he played in the Sunday night game against the Denver Broncos. Now, however, he is nursing a groin injury. Joique Bell also played Sunday night but was at times ineffective. He is now suffering from an ankle injury. Brandon Pettigrew has been out for some time and remains out on Thursday with a hamstring issue.

DeAndre Levy was limited at practice today in his return. Also limited was tackle Corey Robinsion and cornerback Josh Wilson. Larry Warford was in full practice.

The full list of injuries follows.

Injury list, Thursday practice

DE Ezekiel Ansah (groin) - No practice

RB Joique Bell (ankle) - No practice

TE Brandon Pettigrew (hamstring) - No practice

LB DeAndre Levy (hip) - Limited practice

T Corey Robinsion (ankle) - Limited practice
