Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings injury report: Ebron, Ngata, Bell Probable; Pettigrew out

The Detroit Lions finally got some good news on the injury front on Friday, as four starters that have missed some time look to be on track to finally return against the Vikings.

Eric Ebron is listed as probable. Ebron looked to have suffered a pretty serious knee injury in Seattle, but it appears he'll be returning earlier than expected.

Haloti Ngata has been out since that same Seattle game, dealing with a calf issue. The Lions could really use his services, as Detroit has been shorthanded at the defensive tackle position since losing Tyrunn Walker for the season.

Joique Bell hasn't seen the field much at all this year, but his potential return comes at the perfect time as Zach Zenner was placed on IR earlier in the week.

Additionally, James Ihedigbo should return this week after missing the Bears game with a quad injury. He's listed as probable.

In more concerning news, both Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate appeared on Friday's injury report, both dealing with ankle injuries. Tate and Johnson were limited in practice, but both are listed as probable for Sunday.
