Now that Detroit Lions fans have had a day to celebrate a change in regime, it's time for a cold, hard dose of reality. The Lions still stink, and now everyone knows it. Detroit ranks as a bottom three team in all six power ranking lists this week. Even ESPN, who ranked the Lions 24th after last week's win over the Bears, plummeted the Lions seven spots after their collapse against the Vikings.

  • SB Nation: 32nd (down two spots)
  • NFL.com: 31st (no change)
  • ESPN: 31st (down seven spots)
  • CBS Sports: 30th (down three spots)
  • FOX Sports: 30th (down two spots)
  • Yahoo! Sports: 30th (down four spots)
  • Detroit will try to pull themselves out of the basement this week in London when they face the 2-5 Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are riding a relative high after taking down the Steelers 23-13 in Week 7. Still, there's not a lot of hope surround the franchise right now. Kansas City ranks 23rd (SB Nation), 27th (NFL.com), 22nd (ESPN), 24th (CBS Sports), 24th (FOX Sports) and 25th (Yahoo! Sports) in this week's power rankings.

This should be a good opportunity for the Lions to get back on the winning side, especially considering they don't have to travel to Arrowhead Stadium. That being said, Chiefs fans are probably thinking the same thing.

Where do you rank the Lions and Chiefs?
