Lions notes: Silverdome to be destroyed next year

Finally there have been plans made to take down the dilapidated stadium next year.

After years of laying dormant, the Silverdome will finally be mercifully torn down next spring. I love the Silverdome with all of my heart, but it's time that eyesore gets taken down.

Pro Football Focus broke down all seven sacks surrendered by the Detroit Lions last Sunday. Their conclusion: "What we saw was an institutional breakdown at almost every level. The Lions were outcoached and outsmarted by Mike Zimmer’s defense throughout the entire game."
