Detroit Lions injury report: Larry Warford sits out

Thursday's injury report is mostly unchanged, except for Larry Warford's absence.

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions were back at practice on Thursday, and their injury situation remains overwhelming. Not much has changed from yesterday, with one big exception. Larry Warford suffered a setback with his ankle and sat out Thursday's practice after being limited on Wednesday. For the worst offensive line in the NFL, this is not good news.

Elsewhere on the injury report, Joique Bell, Eric Ebron, Travis Lewis and Haloti Ngata were all sidelined for the second straight day, making their outlook on playing Sunday grim.

Likewise, James Ihedigbo, Sam Martin, Ezekiel Ansah and Brandon Pettigrew were all limited again on Thursday, but I expect them all to play against the Cardinals.

The one positive from Thursday's injury report is Rashean Mathis was upgraded from limited in practice on Wednesday to full practice on Thursday. The Lions will need his help against Arizona's threatening passing attack.

Here is the official Detroit Lions injury report for Thursday:

RB Joique Bell (ankle) - No practice

LB Travis Lewis (ankle) - No practice
