Coming off a disaster in London as the Detroit Lions were disenfranchised by the Kansas City Chiefs, things couldn't really get worse for the Lions. This thought was quickly banished when news came out that the injuries might be piling up again, and one injury coming on the Lions' biggest contributor, Calvin Johnson.
Megatron, who had 85 yards on five receptions in Sunday's London match, was seen nursing his left ankle and working with trainers, per Kyle Meinke:

Damage to Calvin Johnson would remove Stafford's primary weapon from the field. Calvin Johnson missed time last year to injuries as well.
In addition, Lions cornerback Darius Slay suffered a potential concussion playing against the Chiefs. He was not available to the media following the loss, which points to concussion protocol in effect. Such an injury would cast a pall on a struggling secondary.
The Lions say CB Darius Slay is not available for interviews, typically something teams only do when a player has a brain injury.
