Week 11 power rankings: Lions bounce out of bottom three

The Detroit Lions' win against Green Bay not only ended a long drought, but it pulled them out of the basement of the league.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions' performance over the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau was enough to send the one of the franchise's biggest blemishes to its final dirt nap, never to be spoken of again after the end of this sentence. The win also pulled the Lions out of the basement of this week's power rankings. Detroit jumped as high as seven spots in this week's rankings, but most still have them as a bottom five team.

  • SB Nation: 28th (up four spots)
  • NFL.com: 28th (up four spots)
  • ESPN: 30th (up two spots)
  • CBS Sports: 29th (up three spots)
  • FOX Sports: 25th (up seven spots)
  • Yahoo! Sports: 30th (up two spots)
  • The Detroit Lions return home this week to face one of the more surprising teams in the league, the Oakland Raiders. Though Oakland (4-5) dropped a disappointing game against the Vikings on Sunday, they are still mostly considered an above average team. The Raiders rank 16th (SB Nation), 12th (NFL.com), 14th (ESPN), 17th (CBS Sports), 20th (FOX Sports) and 12th (Yahoo! Sports).
