Calvin Johnson, Darius Slay active for Thanksgiving Day game

The Detroit Lions will have the services of two key players while the Eagles are missing some big contributors.

After just two practices this week, it was hard to get a grasp on how healthy the Detroit Lions were. Wednesday's injury report saw five Lions players listed as questionable, but it turns out most of those injuries were not considered serious, as of those five, only Gabe Wright is inactive this week.

That means that key pieces Calvin Johnson and Darius Slay are active and will play against the Eagles.

This week in offensive tackle inactives: LaAdrian Waddle remains a healthy scratch. Michael Ola will likely start again with Cornelius Lucas as his backup.

For Philadelphia, Zach Ertz and Ryan Mathews were already declared as out for the game, but you can add starting quarterback Sam Bradford to the list, as Bradford was not able to recover fully from his shoulder injury in the short week.

The good news for the Eagles is they will have their starting center and left tackle in the lineup, after Jason Kelce and Jason Peters were both considered questionable on Wednesday.

Here's each team's entire inactive list:

Lions inactives:

DT Gabe Wright
S Isaiah Johnson
TE Tim Wright
DT Jermelle Cudjo
WR TJ Jones
OT Corey Robinson
OT LaAdrian Waddle

Eagles inactives:

TE Zach Ertz
RB Ryan Mathews
WR Jonathan Krause
CB Denzel Rice
QB Sam Bradford
OL Tanner Hawkinson
DE Brandon Bair
