Matt Millen apologizes to Detroit during NFL broadcast

Matt Millen returned to the broadcast booth this week and had some words for the city of Detroit.

In what happens to be a strange coincidence, as the Detroit Lions are in the midst of a search for a new general manager, Matt Millen, a man who once held that position, returned to the broadcast booth for the NFL. In the second half of the Colts-Buccaneers game, Millen addressed his time in Detroit:

The timing and setting of this apology are quite bizarre. Millen has had plenty of opportunities to publicly apologize, as he has been a part of college football broadcasts since 2009, including games featuring Michigan and Michigan State. But better late than never, I suppose.
