The Detroit Lions, on the heel of two consecutive losses, are once again sliding toward the bottom of the league. Their most recent loss to the St. Louis Rams -- widely considered one of the worst teams in the NFL after their five-game losing streak -- likely sealed Detroit's fate as one of the bottom ten teams in the league. Here's where experts are ranking the Lions after 14 weeks.

  • SB Nation: 20th (down two spots)
  • NFL.com: 25th (down five spot)
  • ESPN: 25th (down three spot)
  • CBS Sports: 26th (down five spots)
  • FOX Sports: 28th (down three spots)
  • Yahoo! Sports: 26th (down two spots)
  • The Lions will try to get back on the winning side on Monday night against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are coming off a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but at 5-8, New Orleans isn't playing for much anymore (there is a very unlikely scenario where the Saints can make the playoffs, but fans aren't holding their breath).

The Saints rank 24th (SB Nation), 18th (NFL.com), 22nd (ESPN), 27th (CBS Sports), 22nd (FOX Sports) and 21st (Yahoo! Sports).
