LaAdrian Waddle is out in Detroit. The offensive tackle has been struggling all year, having started in only six games. The struggles have been part injury and part performance, and there's been plenty of commentary on Waddle being ineffective at tackle for weeks now, having lost his spot long ago to Michael Ola.
On Tuesday, the Lions decided to cut ties with Waddle and released him while claiming a replacement lineman off waivers, Gabe Ikard:

Once an undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech, LaAdrian Waddle has been with the Lions since entering the league in 2013. Gabe Ikard went undrafted in 2014 after his college career at Oklahoma. The Lions will be his fourth team in 2015, having previously held roster spots with the Browns, Bills, and Titans.
In addition, the Lions also signed tight end Bear Pascoe on Tuesday, ostensibly to fill Brandon Pettigrew's spot. Pettigrew was placed on the injured reserve after tearing his ACL against St. Louis.
Also always, a little courtesy is due as these are real people being bandied about in a league of human chess pieces.
