Lions notes: Ziggy Ansah finishes third in Pro Bowl voting among DEs

Today's Lions notes looks at Pro Bowl voting, Larry Warford's improvement and Key of "Key and Peele" and his Lions fandom.

Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

  • Voters for the NFL Pro Bowl made a late rush for Ezekiel Ansah. After finishing fifth in voting last week, Ansah finished third in voting. No other Detroit Lions player finished in the top 10 in voting at their position.

  • Part of the reason for the Lions' small emergence of a running game? Larry Warford has turned around his season:
  • Catching up on a small change in the Lions roster, Detroit dropped Stanley Jean-Baptiste from their practice squad on Tuesday. The Seattle Seahawks promptly added him to their practice squad Thursday.

  • All he needs is a chance, Dallas:
  • Uproxx redesigned every logo as Donald Trump on Thursday. Here is the Lions logo, but be sure to check out the entire set of logos

  • Michael Rothstein of ESPN interviewed Keegan-Michael Key (Key of "Key and Peele") about his Lions fandom, where he was during the Hail Mary and his proposal for fixing the Lions.
