Happy Holidays, everybody.
RAMS (-1.5) over Buccaneers
The 31-23 finish a lot closer than it really was. I did not expect this one to be a blow out but it really was.
COWBOYS (+3) over Jets
KELLEN MOORE! Push.
VIKINGS (-5.5) over Bears
If the Bears have been good at all, they have been good about keeping games close all season, including a three-point loss to the Vikings earlier this season. But back-to-back bad losses at home before this road game has me feeling like that trend will end here on the road in Minnesota with the Vikings needing a win.
Texans (off) over COLTS
Backup quarterbacks dueling it out for the division lead, so I'm going with defense here.
Titans (+14) over PATRIOTS
Two touchdowns is a lot in the NFL for the worst of teams, but the Titans have shown flashes of decency this season with Marcus Mariota. The Pats lost another RB for the season and Tom Brady is under the weather, so I could see the Titans covering this quite easily.
GIANTS (+5) over Panthers
The Giants have a history of upending undefeated teams and they badly need this game. The Panthers, meanwhile, clinched a first round bye last week, so while they still have a lot to play for with home field and an undefeated season, I could see a let down on the road.
Bills (-1) over REDSKINS
You don't like that?
Falcons (+3) over JAGUARS
I can't believe I feel this way, but I think the Falcons will be 7-7 after this one...
Chiefs (-7) over RAVENS
Whatever needs to happen... you know.
Packers (-3) over RAIDERS
Green Bay dominates this series, winning by an average of over 23 points per game dating back to Oakland's time in LA.
SEAHAWKS (-14.5) over Browns
The Seahawks, ugh, are putting up 35 points per game in four straight and giving up just 14 points, skewed by a 39-30 comeback win against the explosive Pittsburgh Steelers. And yet, they are still playing for a playoff spot, so they'll be focused and ready to impress their fans, who they haven't played in front of this month. Also, the Browns.
STEELERS (-6) over Broncos
The Steelers are another team that has been lighting up the scoreboard lately, but they'll be tested against the vaunted Broncos defense. The Broncos offense will not be able to keep up, though.
Dolphins (+2) over CHARGERS
Last game in San Diego? Go out with a dud? Sure.
Bengals (-4.5) over 49ERS
No Andy Dalton, no problem in San Fran.
EAGLES (+3.5) over Cardinals
Cardinals by a field goal.
SAINTS (-3) over Lions
My brother will be at the game, but it will be like most Sundays at Ford Field for him. What a sad, sad Monday Night Football game this turned out to be.
