Lions injury report: Glover Quin out with concussion

Six other Lions were also limited at Wednesday practice.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL schedule doesn't take a break for the holiday season, and the Detroit Lions were back at practice Wednesday for a very merry Festivus. I wonder if there were feats of strength, or perhaps even airings of grievances? This demands a special investigative report, one which we have neither the access nor manpower nor resources.

Regardless, the Lions were missing safety Glover Quin on Wednesday, as he is still in concussion protocol after taking a severe blow to the head during Monday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints. Whether he will be ready for Sunday against the 49ers or not is a storyline we are keeping an eye on at this time.

Calvin Johnson was limited in practice again, as per usual for many weeks now. Michael Ola and Josh Bynes were also limited, as was Haloti Ngata. The full injury report follows.
