Lions-49ers injury report: Glover Quin practices, listed as questionable

Glover Quin got some good news on Christmas day. Though he is still going through the concussion protocol, he participated (in a limited fashion) in Friday's practice, a big step toward playing in Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. While Quin said it would mean a lot for his consecutive start streak to reach 100, he will not put the streak above his own health.

The rest of the Detroit Lions' injury report has the usual suspects listed as questionable: Calvin Johnson, Haloti Ngata and a few more.

On San Francisco's side, the 49ers have ruled out starting left guard Alex Boone, and running back Shaun Draughn. Draughn's absence means the 49ers have just two healthy running backs on the roster. This may force the Niners to recall Jarryd Hayne from the practice squad. Yes, former rugby star Jarryd Hayne who spurned the Lions to join the 49ers.
