Detroit Lions vs. San Francisco 49ers inactives: Glover Quin will play

Glover Quin has cleared concussion protocol and will play.

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

After missing two consecutive practices, it looked like Glover Quin would miss his first game in over six seasons. However, Quin practiced on Friday and apparently recovered quick enough to play in the Detroit Lions final home game against the 49ers. He is on the active roster and is expected to start.

The Lions full inactive list is the same as last week, meaning questionable players like Calvin Johnson, Larry Warford and Haloti Ngata will play.

There aren't any surprises among the 49ers inactives, as most of their players were listed as probable. Of note, however, is that Jarryd Hayne is active after being called up from the practice squad on Saturday. Hayne is the rugby star who seemed ready to join the Lions in the offseason before choosing the 49ers. With San Francisco down to just two healthy running backs, Hayne's activation comes as no surprise.
