The Detroit Lions finished their final home game of the 2015 season against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday with a decisive 32-17 victory. It wasn't the ending to the season they wanted, but the Lions at least provided some entertainment for the fans down the stretch, winning four of their final six home games. Though Ford Field wasn't exactly at full capacity on Sunday, several Lions players expressed their gratitude for the fans' support throughout the season.
- Eric Ebron has been quite vocal this season, but he tweeted out a nice sentiment to the fans Sunday night:
Lions Fans: We thank you guys and girls for everything this season. Happy we could end with a win. One more game lets win this together!
— Eric Ebron (@Ebron85) December 27, 2015Congrats to my brother @IamTJ_Jones on that insane touchdown. #FirstofMany

- Golden Tate took his fan appreciation a step further, helping a fan propose at Ford Field before the game:
- Caraun Reid seems pretty happy in Detroit:
I love this game. I love this team. I love this city. #OnePride
