Calvin Johnson returned to practice on Thursday, still battling the same ankle that has plagued him for nearly half the season. However, defensive end Jason Jones and center Travis Swanson remain out with a neck and shoulder injury respectively.
Both Swanson and Jones sat out practice on Wednesday and miss practice again Thursday. Their expected status for Sunday is unknown. As for Johnson, he has been questionable on numerous reports but always managed to play on game day thus far. Six Lions who were marked as limited in practice on Wednesday were all limited again on Thursday as well. The Detroit Lions continue to practice in preparation for the season finale against their division rival, the Chicago Bears. The full injury report follows:
