It would be only to spin a broken record if I had to lead this report off talking about Calvin Johnson being limited yet again in practice, battling lingering ankle soreness. He's there yet again. He'll probably play on Sunday anyway. Perhaps it's not necessary to panic, but he's there in the headline. He's limited. We cool?
Ezekiel Ansah and Michael Ola were also limited in practice on Wednesday as the Lions prepared to get back to the Sunday slate against the St. Louis Rams. Ansah's dealing with injuries in a hamstring and elbow, while Michael Ola's presence at practice, despite limitations from a knee injury, is a welcome sight, as many feared his absence from an offensive line beginning to gel -- none more so, apparently, than Ola himself, who told the media on Monday that he was "trying to keep my job." Life in the NFL can be cruel and capricious.
As usual, a handful of other Lions are plagued with ankle injuries. We will keep an eye on them as the week progresses and the Lions prepare for Sunday. The full injury report follows.
